Hi, I'm Amy, mom of 6 and piano teacher of over 15 years. I designed this program as a solution to some of the challenges I encountered during my many years of teaching traditional piano lessons.
One common issue was that after students went home, they would forget what we covered during the lesson, and then practice incorrectly for the entire week. I then had to reteach the material during the next lesson and have them re-practice it, instead of moving on to new material. Students would become discouraged and unmotivated when they weren't progressing.

Your Virtual Piano Lessons provides the student with a video lesson that can be viewed and reviewed as often as necessary, and viewed in smaller segments for students with shorter attention spans. Daily communication via video messaging allows me to immediately correct any mistakes to ensure that the student isn't wasting time by practicing incorrectly. This method allows students to progress much more quickly than traditional lessons and increases motivation.

My educational background is in Music, Pedagogy, and Curriculum Design. Aside from teaching piano and playing with my kids, I love fitness, camping, and traveling.
